Dear Friends and Family,
A three-year dream is coming true!! And you can be part of it!
I have been accepted and have committed to a nine-month mission trip with an organization called The World Race Gap Year(WRGY21).
Since middle school, I have been on three mission trips where I discovered a deep passion and part of my purpose. Mexico, Guatemala, and Africa were truly life-changing. If you were a part of those trips, I again say thank-you. You are part of my amazing story. It was in Guatemala that the seed of the World Race was planted. For three years I have thought of, prayed about, and sought the courage to go on this trip. Now, it is coming true, but it takes a village. I need a support team.
On our nine-month adventure, my team of about 30 17–20-year old’s will spend roughly three months in three different countries: Costa Rica, Romania, and Cambodia. Our mission overall is to further God’s Kingdom and make disciples of all nations. In September, my whole squad will gather in Gainesville, GA where we will spend 6 weeks in training camp preparing for our trip. In October we will be launching to our first country, Costa Rica. In these countries we will be doing things like teaching English, sharing the gospel, handing out eyeglasses and Bibles, and ministering to locals. We will have more specific goals as we get closer to departure. There are still people in the world who do not even know the name of Jesus! And that, my friends, is a problem. The Lord has called me to be a vessel of His love and word and one of my personal goals is to share the name of Jesus with those who have not heard of Him.
This is where you can help make this dream a reality. First and foremost, prayer is the biggest support I need.
